In collaboration with translocal agency Biennale Urbana, Act I of the Eye of the Beholder project took place on the island of Lido in the Venetian Lagoon during the summer of 2017. Activating the abandoned military structure Caserma Pepe, in collaboration with the national organization Demanio and local associations Fispmed and Proloco, we created a space for a month long artist residency and a series of aesthetic engagements with the public.
